When we began planning caravans, I looked for resources to guide us.  There are plenty of publications about planning a trip for yourself but nothing out there for planning group travel.  I realized there is a niche that needs filling.  So, I am writing a book to help folks plan and lead an RV caravan.  The title is "Let's Go Caravaning: How to Plan an RV Caravan."  I don't know what kind of market is out there for it.  Most caravans are run by commercial companies.  Although, when we were in Alaska last year, the leader on a commercial caravan was not doing well.  There were numerous complaints.about her and people were leaving the caravan mid-trip.  She sure needed some training.  I certainly know that the folks in our travel club will benefit from the book.
