Seems that with age comes medical attention.  Every trip home is usually because I have a doctor's appointment for something.  The list of specialists seems to increase along with my age.  Despite all the traffic and congestion getting onto Long Island, I am filled with a warm feeling for this place.  This part of the country is so full of foliage; so green.  We have been on the road for 11 yeaers now, and I always enjoy returning home.  I visit with our daughter and her family, my sister, my brother, and my cousins. It is wonderful to join our church family on Sundays and listen to our minister share the Good News.  My American Legion brothers are glad to see me, as I am them.  My husband is with me on this trip.  That makes it extra nice.
